Prayer for Today September 5 –  Prayer to Bring Forth Godly Words

Our words are seeds, and every seed produces after its kind. The Bible says in Proverbs 18:21 that “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” What we speak creates our atmosphere. If you want to see God’s promises manifest in your life, align your words with His Word.

Many believers pray but cancel their prayers by speaking fear, doubt, and negativity afterward. Today, God is empowering you to speak life, call forth your blessings, and release His will through your words. Your tongue will no longer be an instrument of destruction but a tool for divine creation.

Words are Powerful

Words are powerful. The Bible tells us that “death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21). What you speak has the power to shape your day, your destiny, and even the lives of those around you. If we want to walk in victory, we must allow our words to agree with the Word of God.

Speaking godly words is not just about avoiding negative words, it is declaring what God says about you, your situation, and your future. When your words line up with heaven’s agenda, you give God permission to act mightily on your behalf.

Today’s prayer will empower you to bring forth words that give life, release blessings, and silence the enemy’s accusations.

Guide my words today. Help me bring forth speech that is life-giving, encouraging, and full of grace. Let my tongue be a instrument of healing and hope. Where there is opportunity to speak, grant me wisdom. Where silence is needed, give me restraint.

Father, I pray that my words would align with Your truth. May I bring forth declarations of faith that shape my reality. Let my speech be a catalyst for positive change in my life and the lives of those around me. Today, I choose to use my words to build up, not tear down.

In the name of Jesus, who is the Word made flesh, Amen.
